eo cooking oilsHoly Cow this has opened a whole new world for me being able to cook with essential oils.  Therapeutic oils at that!!

Last week I took sliced cucumber and sweet onion sliced and put the apple cider vinegar in a bowl. All I added was 2 drops of Black Pepper essential oil.   YUM!

Last night I made rice, chicken, cream of chicken/mushroom soup and added 4 drops of Lemon essential oil. YUM!

Here is a chart to get you going on your new adventure of using essential oils in your food preparations.

Remember only use essential oils that have supplement facts on them and have an expiration date on them. These EO’s are FDA compliant and safe.  I suggest you contact me to find out which ones and where to buy wholesale.

Taking a Holistic Approach

Tags

I want to discuss taking two approaches to the wellness of your body.  One would be an Ambulance/Reactionary approach and the other a Holistic Approach/Proactive approach.

“A holistic approach to wellness promotes living with a prevention mindset and addressing root causes when symptoms arise by providing support to entire body systems” A Essential Life 2015 Total Wellness Publishing, LLC

An Ambulance approach:

1. Acknowledge that your feel bad

2 Identify Symptoms

3 Seek remedy for symptoms-seek prescribed advice to manage

4 Outcome-temporarily address symptoms–neglect underlying causes and body systems needs

5 Side effects appear of symptoms return

Holistic Approach:

1 Pay attention to the body

2 Identify symptoms- Consider what body system is affected and where symptoms are coming from

3 Search body systems-find conditions within system that best relate to what is being experienced

4 Learn which oils address conditions by strengthening body with natural solutions

5 Outcome-gain knowledge and understanding of the body systems and organ functions–Consider underlying concerns that contribute (diet, sleep, stress, activity, etc)—Prevent issues from occurring and nurture lasting health results

A Essential Life a simple guide to living the wellness lifestyle
